Review on HOMBYS Luxurious Oversized Comforter Hypo Allergenic by Joshua Sarma

I really like the size of this duvet cover. It fits like a blanket on my king size bed which is why I bought it. It's lightweight and fluffed up pretty well 24 hours after unpacking. It is solidly made and in my opinion does not sleep too hot. Feathers don't bother my allergies. There are a few disappointing factors that kept me from giving five stars. It's pretty loud. The most disturbing aspect is that it sheds TERRIBLE feathers and down. I bought this on the pretext of reading other reviews about nibs not falling out, but that is not the case with what I received. On the chest of drawers, hair, clothes etc. I find thin down. Part of me wants to return it because of the hair loss, but I was addicted to the 120x120. I used to have a Tommy Bahama duvet as an alternative to the large plus size duvet (it was a little under 120x120) that I bought loved but accidentally spilled something on it that left a permanent stain. You can hear the rustling in the video I've attached and you can see the little feathers of down coming out in the photos. I can't move or touch it without something flying out. My headboard, dresser, bedside tables, and TV stand have dusty foil and tiny back springs that I have to wipe down daily with a damp cloth because of this comforter. The box says the warranty is 3 years, but there's no phone number or email to contact the company. Maybe I got a defective product. I had to return it within 30 days but I thought and hoped that detaching was a process that would eventually stop. NO! I've included photos of my TV stand, dresser, nightstand, and the top of the headboard to show the fine dust and tiny back feathers emanating from this quilt. I can only imagine how much of all that stuff I have to breathe. I have ordered an alternative duvet from Hombsy and will be removing this goose down from my bed. I will report on the result of the guarantee procedure. *** Warranty Update *** Unable to contact this company regarding the so called warranty. I have downgraded my original rating from three to two stars. If a guarantee is stated, it should be followed and the consumer should be provided with the necessary information to contact the company. As I mentioned earlier, I purchased the Hombsy lightweight alternative duvet and it has served me well so far. It's soft, quiet and warm. It also washes well. My only regret is not buying it first.
