I purchased this more to help with ingrown toenail on my second toe. Long story is an inherited trait created issues and this helps to keep that toe straighter, relieved the ingrown nail allowing me to easily address that particular issue and it slightly elevates the end of my toe, again relieving some pain issues. I will definitely buy this product again should these wear out or become stretched to the point that it no longer stays in place properly. it's a GREAT product
