The backpack is so cool! I use it with my 11 lb cat pictured in my review. It offers enough space to lie down and many viewpoints! It is durable and comfortable to wear. The side panels are removable as they are attached with very strong zippers. It was a bit tricky to put together, but once I zipped everything up it all fell into place. I was curious if my 21 lb cat would fit in a backpack and he does. The backpack held the weight well but was a little flattened. I would not recommend this for cats over 20 pounds simply because it would be uncomfortable for them. I think 15lbs might be the max in terms of space and comfort. Overall this is a really cute, functional and durable cat carrier. Definitely recommend!
