I bought these socks a while ago and they were the warmest socks I have ever owned. When I received this order, the first thing I noticed was that they were longer (above the calf) and I was glad about that. However, after wearing them I don't find them as warm as the first order; They just aren't as thick as the first order. The real downside is that the fingertips on all three pairs aren't very well constructed; There are holes all over the hem and you can see your toes through the sock. I will try to return them.
