Review on 🐱 Optimized Amazon Basics Cat Tree with Cave and Scratching Posts by Erika Wright

Update: It would have been nice if the top hadn't chipped about 4 weeks after receipt. I put it back on and after a few weeks it fell off again. The plastic cap in the cardboard tube is broken. As my title suggests, cats love it while it's there, but it's very short-lived. I bought it on the best day and assembled it the night it arrived which I reckon means my cats have worn it more than twice but it hasn't even been three weeks. As you can see, the soft, fluffy fabric covering one of the lower jambs has already been torn, with pressed wood showing through. This was done by one kitten in less than 3 weeks. The top platform is a bit rocky but it shouldn't be very solid and I think when my 4 year old climbed and sat on it it got even rockier. It was pretty easy to put together; I don't know how long it will be before I build another, hopefully more durable model.
