Review on Jenson USA HD1BT2 Bluetooth Touring by Ryan Gilliam

Installation was easy however I had this item months before I could fit it. After installing it I realized that an amplifier would be needed to make it loud enough to be heard over the exhaust noise. Before I could get the amp and install it, I found that the aux port on the back of the unit, which I used to charge my phone and play music on the radio, wasn't consistently charging the phone. During my first long install after a long drive, I found my phone was dead and there was no GPS for direction. I don't think it's a problem that this radio has bluetooth, so I stop, grab a cigarette lighter charger and listen to music via bluetooth. After another 600 miles on the road, Bluetooth stopped working, so now I have either music or direction, but not both. When I get home the unit appears to be out of warranty. Without being able to return this unit and try another to see if I just got a lemon or the radio just isn't up to scratch I cannot recommend this product.
