As a radio amateur I often find myself at the top of my towers or with friends who are either uncomfortable at heights or physically unable to climb. I recently attempted to climb a large, cone-shaped, free-standing tower that belonged to a friend. I couldn't find a positioning strap in my arsenal that allowed positioning at different heights, allowing for a relaxed position. I found that I kept going up to the tower and got tired quickly. The Eagle River 34406 adjustable lanyard is really suitable for such situations. It's easy to regulate. Simply grab the release button while pulling up with your other hand and releasing. This makes the work very easy.
