Review on 🚗 MAXLINER 2 Row Black Floor Mats Set for 2018-2022 Audi A5 Sedan / S5 Sedan / A5 Sportback / S5 Sportback by Tony Jockheck

I was happy to protect the carpet on my new A5 Sportback so I bought it as soon as I got the car. The OEM made rubberized all weather floor mats for other cars and the problem I found was that the rubber degraded over time, especially in the heel area. That's not to say they're indestructible, but harder plastics can last longer. The fit was really good for 3 mats, with snaps that fit exactly how they should be in the car. The plastic feels nice, not too slippery. They definitely pick up all the junk, wet or dry, that gets into the car. BUT the left front mat is not as tight as expected. The right front left edge of the mat is not completely flush with the carpet wall and therefore the left front corner (just before the sharp rise, not the extreme front edge) is not completely flat on the floor. . It's probably raised 1/2 inch or so. When you step on it, the mat can be pressed against the carpet, but then it just rises again when you release the pressure. The instructions provided state that the mats can warp slightly with the packaging and should snap back to their intended shape with minimal time/heating. It improved a bit after the first day, but it's definitely not as perfectly shaped as the other 3 quilts. I will be in touch with the company to discuss offers and options. UPDATE: Customer support has been pretty responsive. As a result the carpet just didn't fit and they offered a replacement upon return of the defective carpet. To reduce downtime, I ordered a new one from Revain and sent the broken one back. The new one fits better so I think it was a one off issue. Upgraded to 4 stars from an initial 3 stars.
