. We got them for our cruise last month because our waterproof camera dived in Grand Turk last summer. Literally. We wanted to make sure our insanely expensive phones do NOT do the same๐. So I did 2 tissue tests each. The first, weighed in our bathroom. In the second, I got braver and took her into the shower. Over 5 minutes underwater with all 4 tests. Both passed with flying colours! Now for the touch factor: No issues with any of our phones, the Samsung Galaxy S9+/Samsung Note9. Everything worked as if they were not in the case at all. Both worked excellently in and under water. (((Bonus: my phone's camera is set to automatically take a picture when I say smile๐, in this case it worked fine, just not ๐ฏ time underwater))) The ONLY negative point was , when we shot on video above and underwater the audio was muted on playback after returning to the ship. Not where you can't hear anything, just a dull noise. BUT then again, IF our *waterproof camera* didn't submerge, we'd just be using it, not our phones. Note to self: Buy a different brand of camera before our next cruise in February! I will buy them again as they make great pouches for things you don't want to just leave when you go in the water and the straps allow you to just throw them around your neck and go. I had my cash/cabin keys along with my phone but it was very tight and I didn't want to risk stretching it. Overall, this is a really great case for our needs.
