I couldn't take out the core

(update), I ordered a replacement. I found that I had to press really hard to snap the core into place and then it popped out along with the extraction tool. So it works. The ball valve still has a very rough spot. So I think it's their design, but I'm still concerned because it will have premature wear in that area. With very hard bolt pull, rough ball valve, and low compression rating (which is when I find a leak and use a compression test that I have to do first), it's no good for this tool's expensive stuff, or most of it. I was able to unlock the valve core but I couldn't get it out. I even unscrew the furthest nut to release some pressure to push the valve out, but it won't come out. When I turn the ball valve there is a very rough spot at the end and I have to press harder to get over it. I was worried the valve core was there and I crushed the core, but it wasn't. However, this leaves the possibility that the valve core is there and I thought it was just a "normal" rough spot. I will have to return or exchange it as it is unacceptable. I'm currently in evacuation so not having a working tool is really bad for me.
