Does everything it was made to do. I installed this in a lowered dash on my F-150. So I can always keep the data cable of my Yaesu cell phone connected to the network. That way when I want to program it I literally just plug my laptop into the port on the kickpad with a standard USB cable and program, I don't have to get on all fours and fiddle around to get data. The cable is plugged into the back of the radio.
