The nibs are hard compared to the original Samsung stylus which has a soft nib as is the case with the stylus that came with my galaxy tab s7. It's great for on-screen writing and has the same responsiveness. The only problem might be the hard tip, but I got used to it relatively quickly. It doesn't have S-Pen functionality, although it has a button on the side, it doesn't do anything other than write/draw on the screen. Although it looks exactly like the official Samsung.
