SanDisk storage standard. I've never had a bad one. I chose the 16GB model for my Raspberry Pi projects because it is enough to use the Pi O/SI and this model is good for transfer rates up to 80MB/s. I've tried faster cards, but there's no point in buying a super-fast card if your reader just reads slower. I had a 98MB/s card but I found it caused some freezes. I don't know if the card transmits faster than the system can receive but I thought this card at this price point is the perfect balance of performance and price. I can add a hard drive if I need more storage space; directly into one of the 4 USB ports on the Pi.
