Strong as normal plastic bags

I have been using these bags for about a year. They don't spoil during this time, which is good because my family only uses one a week. I'm hoping they degrade much sooner than regular plastic (which actually doesn't degrade at all) and I can't really rate that at this point. But every little thing I can do to reduce excess plastic is a big plus for me. They do seem a bit pricey, but I think that perception is largely due to the fact that you're buying a year's supply right away. I will continue to buy these bags.
