Suitable for wood conditioning
It seems to be linseed oil. Although the smell of petroleum distillate is a little smelly. Maybe it's part of the extraction/refining process. And Sunnyside's MSDS says it contains chemicals known to cause cancer, which I wouldn't expect from pure flaxseed oil. I think it might just be a template that they put on all their MSDS docs. But it worked well for conditioning my ax handles. Absorbs more quickly into hickory and does not harden as quickly as boiled linseed oil, allowing for much deeper penetration over time. When this jar runs out, I'll buy more.
