This is a sturdy, well-made knee brace that does the job. But if you want one and if you are anywhere near a larger size, go for the larger size. I got 1X and I should have got 2X. I ended up running into some ill-advised issues, due to fitment or not, I don't know. You should probably wash any knee pad after you've used it, but I've never done that before. So first I wash and dry them, spray Tinactin on the inside and rub powder on the foot area and I'm ready to wear them all day. The company recommends removing the loops when washing. Well, that's easier said than done, especially putting them back in place. The loops definitely look like they could use a little moisture, so from now on they will be dipped into, but no longer included with, the rest of the brace. Washing machine. They may need lube, but I'm not going to put them on and take them off every day.
