Yes, he came, tried to kill him and then ran away. This POE dome camera was installed in the ceiling and he didn't see it at all. Finally realizing it was watching him, he attempted to kill the troop. I disabled everything I could find but it still worked. I'm sure he never guessed that the power came from a network cable in the ceiling that ran to the camera from another building. So he hit it with his trusty crowbar and shattered the protective glass, but it kept working. So he turned and ran. These cameras are installed in buildings I own in the wild, 200 miles from my home. It's so reassuring that whenever I want to "check in" I can see what's going on and get 24/7 notifications. I installed everything myself and am 70 years old. So now the camera needs to be replaced but it did what I bought it to do. If it had been plastic, like most dome cameras, it would have been ripped off. But this one still works - just a little blurry around the edges where there's broken glass. Now I understand why the ratings for these cameras are so high. Of course I'm glad I bought Reolink!
