BEST FO/SALADS!

I've looked for them EVERYWHERE! My husband and I are heavily addicted to pho. That means we need bowls that offer as much space as possible for delicious, flavorful broth at the highest level. We did our best using large, thick plastic salad bowls (relics from his college days) while I scoured the internet for better (and more aesthetically pleasing) food options. It was really hard to find something that was big enough for generous helpings of broth/noodles, didn't get uncomfortably hot all over, and didn't look like it was meant for the first courses of a family style buffet. . brilliant! The bowls have a nice clean design and will keep the soup warm without burning your hands on the bowl. Now portions. Of course, it could hold a total of 55 ounces of liquid to the brim. But nobody fills a soup bowl to the brim, right? I filled the bowl with water until it reached the "full" portion (not to the brim) and measured it out. 5 cups / 40 fl oz is the amount that fits in a bowl and still leaves room to breathe so you can bring it to your dinner table without fuss. Or, if you're a savage like us, watch eagerly right on the couch in front of the TV. They also make excellent salad bowls for huge portions of veggies and proteins. No problem washing them in the dishwasher. I bet the reliable quality will last over time. I will buy another set as they are constantly changing in our kitchen. I love her!
