I bought this as a bag when the rest of my clothes don't have one. I usually only carry a small pocket knife and lip balm, and while this bag is huge for just that, it still holds it well, and I don't notice this thing on my arm under a long-sleeved shirt. She's free, but not free enough to slip. I can move it down my arm almost to my elbow but it's tight there. I've tried putting my phone (Pixel 2 XL in thin case) in my pocket, it fits, but it's awkward and huge, and I wouldn't wear it like that under normal circumstances - while I'm sure it's hunched over for running Elbows will work, walking with your hands on the floor will not work. I intend to carry a bag all day if my clothes don't have pockets and are comfortable, light and unobtrusive. I could also put a small wallet in it, the smallest wouldn't stretch it nearly as much as my phone, and I'm sure it would be handy to tuck up my sleeve. A small music device like an iPod is fine, but the cable will be a nuisance for everyday tasks.
