With this new version of the ASUS ZENBOOK 15 4K with custom GTX 1650 Nvidia graphics, Asus really got it right this time. 15.6" UHD+ 178 WideView Nano-Edge Display (4096 x 2160). Very good and the colors are vibrant. I believe the NITS screen brightness is between 330 and 350 but to be honest the description says so not and there are no reviews yet for this high-end model Zenbook 15. The performance is excellent, to be honest it's a multitasking powerhouse, the 10th Gen I7-1051OU handles tasks like it's nothing. I could watch youtube and then simultaneously open an excel and powerpoint spreadsheet file on the same screen and then go to adobe pro and view a photo or video, it's literally night and day compared to my old coffee lake msi these 10th gen devices .Generation run relatively cool, so under heavy loads this laptop can get as hot as 92 degrees! At 3.2GHz, however, the processor on these Comet Lakes falls to a cooler temperature around 2.6-2.8GHz.This is really something you s should see for themselves. How is the game? Very good actually, with a GTX 1650 Nvidia graphics card for lighter gaming, you can easily reach 38-65 fps at high FHD settings. I played Children of Morta in full resolution 4K 60 FPS. Mana 4K tests were 38 to 42 fps FULL UHD, of course you need to connect an ASUS 120W AC adapter, don't expect to see such results on battery power lol. 5.8 inch touchscreen? Okay, it's hit or miss, you really like it or you don't like it. I personally don't use it. I believe the panel could be more useful after some software tweaks and updates from ASUS, but for now no, I really don't see the need for it. I was watching Netflix on it the other day while working on my Excel SS for work, so I think it was cool. But other than a calculator, I don't see a definitive use for it. Basically, it's like a show-your-friends-type technology. The 5 best PARTS of this new 10th Gen ASUS ZENBOOK 4K version should be a good #1 IPS 4K screen. #2 Comet Lake 4-core 8-thread processor 10th generation I7-1051OU. #3 An inconspicuous Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics card. #4 A keyboard that is very good for typing. I like and use the numeric keypad every day. The backlight is fine for me, it's not very bright, and I've noticed that some keys don't light up at all. A high brightness on the keyboard is simply unusual for me. I think ASUS should have approached this keyboard backlighting very differently, but hey, it does the job. Wonderful. So finally, can I recommend this laptop? Yes definitely I recommend but I would save your money and if you want 4K it will cost you about $200 more for the blue/gold version just go for the silver ice lake like I did and instead you're paying $1199 starting at $1399 haha your choice But I think the Icy Lake Silver is IMO what you want and will save you some money on the plus side. Conclusion: If you are looking for a fast multitasking laptop with light to medium gaming then this is the laptop for you. By the way, before buying the Zenbook 15, I looked and studied the ASUS G14 laptop with AMD 4900HS and HEAT? that helped me with the purchase decision. The thermals were too high for my comfort. I hope this review helps you in your purchasing decision for this high-performance ultrabook.
