First, let me introduce myself as the male member of the family, and I'm writing this review from the perspective of someone who does manages the full pockets, as well as the one who uses it when I change my daughter's diapers. I've been using diaper decor for over 20 months now. When my daughter used to poo "baby shit" it really wasn't a problem because baby shit doesn't smell that bad. However, when she switched to "regular poop" the smell became completely unbearable! This literally made me call diaper decor the worst invention ever! The decoration idea is very good and makes perfect sense. However, actual everyday use creates an unpleasant odor, as you can imagine. Worst of all, the packaging's built-in scent is supposed to neutralize the bad smell, but somehow the two smells chemically combine to create a devilish, disgusting smell. I'm not exaggerating! So I learned not to change bags around the house because the smell lingers in the air and makes everyone around him vomit. Now I'm taking the decor outside to change it up so the fresh air can drive away the smell. Unfortunately this is still not very effective as I often feel like I can cut through the thick, disgusting smell with a knife. I'm not kidding, the smell gets caught in my nose hairs, so after a decor change I have to blow my nose to completely remove it from my system. I highly recommend, if possible, just using a regular trash can with a drawstring trash bag and lid and leaving it outside for diaper disposal. I did this in earnest last summer and surprisingly didn't shut up about changing it. The only reason I still use Decor is because my wife unknowingly (or knowingly) bought a new box of Decor bags and insists on using them. Maybe I just need to have her changed from time to time so she knows how excruciating it is to change furnishings.
