My sciatica savior!

Have been using Backjoy pillows for over 5 years. As a teenager I had a scoliosis fusion and developed arthritis in my lumbar region. I now have 3 pillows: one for my car, one for when I'm in someone else's car/travelling, and now this one for my desk/gaming/art chair. I spend over 8 hours a day sitting. THE. PILLOW. CHANGES. . THE GAME! An update to the original model is definitely a wider seating area. The edge of the pillow no longer cuts into my sciatic nerve and supports my butt much better. I'll admit that I have big buttocks and hips, so curvy ladies with sciatica sit a lot better. I dig less in the sciatic nerve than with older models. It also grabs my bum when I sit down, so there's less need for adjustment overall. It definitely activates my core differently than the original design. I can feel it in my obliques as well as my core, but it's more relaxing. When it's confusing it seems to me that my muscles have been activated but not to the point where they're tired, it's more supportive - if that makes sense. The only downside I had was that my nails are too long to make the front finger grip very comfortable, but that's less the pillow's fault than my desire to have long nails. More reasons why these (and all Backjoy pillows, frankly) are the best pillows: EVERY seat is comfortable now. Bar stools, airplanes, wheelchairs (airport), grandstands, benches, old upholstery, even the floor can be endured longer than usual. There are a variety of seating options. It's a bit weird to sit in one if you've never used Backjoy, but once you realize the "weirdness" is not breaking your tailbone and leaning forward all the time, you will wondering how you've ever sat without him again. I never do.
