I purchased this product after trying another one that was auctioned at my shop window. I like this phone holder MUCH better. First surprise was the quality that it's actually metal, second was the pole - once on it seems like it's going nowhere. I haven't tried the iPad holder but the phone holder is amazing. It doesn't block my view of the street like the one stuck to my window. This is the ideal curve for jeeps as there is no flat bar on a jeep to attach anything to. The only thing I would ask for in the future is to make the phone's grip a bit deeper. I have a socket and a case on my phone and it holds it, but that's the limit. I think it would be nice if I didn't have a pop socket, but I'm addicted to that pop socket so it's going nowhere :)
