Where is this product from?

I don't like all that fiberglass or tiny bits of glass that fall off the balls when handling. Splinters fall on clothing and furniture, but even worse, on my skin. Irritating and difficult to wash off. I'm concerned that tiny glass particles could get into my lungs and get into my lungs. I threw this product in the trash.
