I love everything about this product except the chopper lid. We've used it for slicing/mincing raw meat, which it can (and the product images even suggest it can be used), but there's a small metal ring on the inside of the lid that can't be cleaned. Some of the meat clearly went in, and since that piece doesn't look removable, it now stinks to high heaven. In fact, despite very vigorous cleaning attempts (pressure washing, scrubbing, sticking a needle in, using a bottle brush, soaking in alcohol, soaking in soap, etc.), it has fallen into disrepair. So if you're planning on putting meat in your meat grinder, you've been warned!
