Sound is decent, loud enough but don't expect a booming speaker. I read where the reviewer said the speakers were cheaply made and one broke during installation. Here's what you need to know: The speaker connector cables are very firm (as you'd want for a boat that can withstand water hammer). Hold the wire connector on each side with your fingers and gently move it back and forth without using too much force and it will slip, just be patient. I will say they look amazing!
