The item had a hole in the heel after 6 months and my daughter's feet got wet when she went near the water. The boots should be used near or in water. After a very short time, the insole fell out and had to be removed completely. Not something you should buy if you intend to use it as a general purpose boot. It was a Christmas present and it barely made it to the end of spring and couldn't be returned as it went through the 30 day window. Also, buy it a little smaller than your child's foot, it's very big.
