I say great for 1-2 nights because we got them about 3 nights before the Fourth of July to use as "reusable fireworks" and the most of them to use already shot out of the light on the most important day! We made sure to only turn them on after dark and I was very surprised they couldn't stay on as we got another brand that stayed on for about 4 days in a row! Also, the elastic on them is a bit tight and short and constantly slips out of the grooves of the slingshot handle. So I spent a lot of time putting the rubber band back on for the neighborhood kids, who were all having fun with them. Yet another brand we got - this rubber band never came loose so I didn't think it was worth investigating. If you're saving them mainly for the big moment, they're great fun and a fantastic alternative to fireworks. The grips are sturdy, as are the missiles and they are SUPER FUN to shoot etc. The only pain points were the resiliency and short battery life of the LED lights. Oh yes, and they had a less cool whistle and didn't fly as far as the other brands: we got "Rocket Helicopters" from a neighbor and I didn't check whether they were online, but whether I bought them again, I would, I would go with them if I could find them. I would only buy this brand again if I couldn't find any others. They were a nice temporary fun item to give to kids. This brand is "disposable" or "one night only", the other was really reusable.
