It works but takes a lot of effort
After reading other reviews saying "it doesn't work" when I got mine and tried it I initially said the same thing. Heed the advice of other reviewers, though: soak the sponge for at least 10 minutes, wring it out, then wipe/scrub damp skin. Soak the sponge to really soak it (to remove anything causing the wrapper to feel wet). Use a sponge on wet skin BEFORE using soap. I found I had to brush with a HUGE force after which the dead skin started to wrinkle. I'm a plus size girl so trying to scrub a lot of surface left me panting and sweating like a HIIT workout! Damn I'm tired after writing this review.
