Review on Shaluoman 2.7V 500F Farad Capacitor - High Performance Super Capacitor with Protection Board - 35X60MM by Raymond Iglesias

Great, but there has to be a proper nomenclature for this product.

Works very well, am still in the process of looping the module to balance it, but it definitely works. This is a 16.2V battery with a capacity of approximately 83.34 farads. This is a calculation, in practice it's probably closer to 80, depending on the voltage there will always be some parasitic losses. The balance board drains the spilled cell charge, about 2.698 volts or so I think. Recharging this device will result in a small explosion, but this should be harmless as long as the charging current does not exceed the load on the balancing circuit. I bought my device before it was available and the wait sucked. Considering that you can buy this device a lot cheaper elsewhere directly via China, I should have done so at the time, but the current asking price is particularly fair for Prime shipping. NOTE TO SELLER: Please change the title to reflect exactly what I said about module voltage and capacity. Six 2.7V 500F capacitors in series have an estimated total capacitance of 83.34F and a maximum total voltage of 16.2V. Some people may not understand this. However, this stores enough energy to easily vaporize a copper bar. Extreme care must be taken with series of ultracapacitors. I ordered it to power a capacitive discharge impulse welder but ended up ordering a Maxwell machine on eBay, because I didn't want to wait any longer. Maxwell Block - 58F, and it's extremely powerful. This device will likely deliver even more performance on demand. See my article on the security of these block types and an example of their usage on Thingiverse. Search for "Ultra Capacitor Dual Pulse Spot Welder, New Iteration". I can't paste the link or Revain is blocking the review.
