Revainrating 2 out of 5

Frustrated by computers and accessories

The laptop is generally ok Plus points are; 1) The screen is good. 2). It's very easy. 3). It's beautiful and subtle. minuses; one). The keyboard is NOT BACKLIT as stated in the description. It's VERY hard to see. Silver buttons are marked with silver text. I pinch when typing, so it's impossible to see the keys in low light. Why silver on silver, no idea. This is a design flaw that is a deal breaker for me. 2). It was advertised with the "Aloha Set" whatever that was. There was nothing in the kit but a laptop, cable and instructions. 3). I had to reload the microphone driver to get it working. four). The camera is kind of slow and grainy. I would choose a different laptop for the keyboard alone. The woman can type, so it doesn't bother her. That's why I gave it an average rating of 3 stars.

Pros
  • Large, high-bandwidth 8GB DDR4 memory is designed to run games and applications, multiple programs and browser tabs simultaneously. Stays on for up to 9 hours before you need to recharge. Battery life varies depending on apps and power management settings. The built-in HD webcam with microphone enables remote sharing for work and school with Zoom, Skype, etc. Sound with ASUS SonicMaster stereo speakers brings your games, music and movies to life.
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok
