Moukey's wireless system is just what I was looking for as I prepared to go back to class in the spring. This is a lightweight microphone with excellent sensitivity. The flexible shaft allows for easy adjustment, and the mic capsule is fairly directional so I don't hear too much noise. I was able to use it in my apartment so the range is perfect for the classroom. I also like the ability to connect multiple microphones or other instruments that use a 1/4" jack (with independent volume control). As a music teacher, I often connect 2-3 devices to my small amp that I use for my piano and player in class. This type of microphone will not work on a computer unless you have an external audio interface that can handle the signal. The 1/4" to 1/8" (mini) converter makes it easy to connect smaller speakers (like the studio monitors I have) for use in classrooms or conference rooms. The ability to quickly change channels on the headset is also handy a plus as I live in a busy area where many standard mic frequencies get jammed I can't wait to use this for anything other than short recordings at home!
