This is a really well thought out and made product. I believe it will have a long and useful life. Quality and assembly are top. I live in Hawaii, so sandals are almost always appropriate. I don't like the inherent instability of flip flops. They sit well on the leg and are secure. I may have a fat foot but the length of the strap is an issue because I have to stretch as much as possible to put it on. The Gurtweg is interesting. To tighten or loosen the strap, you need to powder the buckle and one more point. It's ok if the strap is sufficient.
