I bought this as a family gift for our upcoming trip to Colorado. It's not like we let our son spend a lot of screen time, but I don't want to be that guy on the plane with the crying baby. I wanted to make sure we had a tablet with cartoons already downloaded so we had our "secret weapon" when it started freaking out. So why did I choose this particular tablet for this task? Well, first of all, it's strong enough for me to use and enjoy instead of dedicating to just one kid. Also, the fact that there are no controls on the bottom, meaning no buttons, not even a 3.5mm jack on the top, is the absolute best for me. Just keep my son's hands away from anything that might turn it off, turn up the volume, or change anything that's playing on the screen. I've already used it at home and it's very fast just browsing the web. In general, I am very satisfied with the tablet. Also a little bonus: it already has a screen protector on it!
