Review on ๐Ÿงผ WHITE+BLACK+DECKER Grimebuster Power Scrubber Brush BHPC130 by Michael Ward

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very weak, slow and very difficult to turn on and off. -- See updates!

This is an issue with soapy hands that require a firm grip or force, but the on/off button is very difficult to press. I have to use two hands and press very hard with my fingers (not recommended for those who may have hand health issues - which I certainly don't - and I'm still struggling a bit). At the same time it is very difficult. weak, not itchy. You have to put down the device and do it with your hands to clean the pan, pot or plate. In addition, the accessories are also quite weak. The sanding pad falls apart after just a few uses. And the pad for the brush, well, very weak. Not strong enough to scrape things off a pot or pan - feels like I'm massaging pots and pans - not really removing dirt from them. Batteries but still with new fresh batteries and it's still slow and sluggish. I got this thinking it would help speed up the process of washing some pots and pans, but no, it's slower. You need this device to spin faster (RPM) and also have more power and handle it better too. Detergents last longer and can also clean sticky pots and pans. UPDATE: B&D contacted me and they were happy to send me a replacement or refund. I decided to have a replacement and I have to say the replacement was like night and day, this other device worked fine. Both speed and torque were an improvement, also the on/off button was much easier to use - I made a note next to the battery box that this model was the 2020 version while the older model was billed as 2019 - I don't know if this matters, but I hope this information helps someone. Although the pads should be stronger (IMHO), at least the device works great. In the end, I initially received a defective device and the exchange worked perfectly. Thank you B&D, you really did it!

Pros
  • Rugged, submersible design for durability
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen
