Review on MaxxHaul 70075 Motorcycle Wheel Chock by Erick Bowers

I love this choke! - Tools and equipment

Very happy with this block. Very strong, durable steel and well constructed. Bought for mounting on a low loader. It was well packaged and came with strong mounting bolts and locknuts. The 3 position tire stud adjuster fitted my large Yamaha Royal Star Venture perfectly. A NOTICE. This block is designed to bolt into a trailer or pickup truck (yes, you STILL need to use the tie downs!). If you're going to use something like in a garage or workshop then you need to fix it to some sort of non-slip heavy base as it's not designed for that kind of application and it says the product comes with a warning. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive T/S tire chock to haul your T/S and AGAIN you still need to use tie down straps. UPDATE: Today I was working with a block and found a small problem. My dual brake discs on either side of the front wheel were only 1/8 inch from the chocks and could hit or scratch the chocks while the trailer was moving. I considered several options, some of which involved bending the liner rods, which I did NOT want to do. In the end I decided to put a 1/2 inch thick plastic disc on the bottom plate of the pavement (under the tire) which lifted the tire and thus the rotors so they both cleared the pavement completely: happy with the results.
