Review on Shop4Omni Hurricane Kerosene Lantern Emergency Home Decor by Mike Pfettscher

Need a well known brand with flammable liquid

I got two lanterns, filled them up and was smart enough to put them in a plastic bag before putting them in the carrying case. Because if I didn't, my car would be full of kerosene. One of the lanterns had a bad weld and was leaking kerosene. I emptied one and threw it away because I thought it was dangerous. I took the other one with me to camp. It also contains kerosene that leaked through some of the holes. I was about to take it home, but my 4x4 smelled so strongly of kerosene that I stopped and left it at the last point of interest in the camp before leaving the area. My grandfather always said to use Coleman because they are safe. I think he was right.

Pros
  • Adjustable wick - long lasting
Cons
  • So so
