Review on ๐Ÿ’ฆ Vibrant ColorBox Archival Dye Queue Ink Pad in Pool Party for Stunning Artwork by Gelin Battle

Small stamp pads but mine dries quickly

They're pretty small but I can handle them because I've used them with 1/4" letter stamps to make Thanksgiving decorations and labels making drinks by name. I know it's called 'Pool Party', but it works just as well as a winter collection. My only complaint is that almost all of the colors dried fairly quickly - the red stayed wet and vibrant the longest. Me only worked with them for less than an hour, made 30 name tags and intended to use purple for the letters on all tags (I used the other colors to print the design on the side of the tags) on top of purple between the name tags , I had to switch to green halfway through because the purple was drying out and only gave me a faint color compared to the light one color that existed in the beginning. ok (I used green first to stamp with a design on the side of only 7 tags, so green performed slightly better than purple). It was a bit disappointing. I suspect that it is due to the small size of the pads. I usually use about 2 inch ink pads and don't have this problem. If you need a variety of colors for a quick project, like I did, you might like this set. Maybe my set dried up quickly, it was an accident.

Pros
  • Fast drying and permanent on coated and uncoated paper
Cons
  • Expensive
