I was in dire need of an extension cord and for one thing it didn't arrive as it should, useless when needed in a pinch. Second, the cable puts out 54W when connected to a 61W Apple charger, as noted in System Info - Power, and it reports a 54W charge at 32 percent. Third, I didn't know why there was no image on my external monitor and none of my peripherals worked on the USB-C hub until I read from one of the reviewers that you have to reverse the connection to the hub and Boom was working weird. Last but not least, this cable is very stiff. I understand why, but I've had several USB-C cables that I bought from Amazon that I still use to this day. After years of use, they are not stiff and are of excellent quality. Using this cable, especially when switching from a MacBook to an iPad on a daily basis, is quite cumbersome, because its stiffness makes me wonder how long this cable will last, since you have to twist it in different directions just to make sure it's secure properly seated when plugged in. Cable but may have to look for another brand as I'm not sure how long this will last with multiple iPad Pro and MacBook Pro swaps.
