Quality construction but the jack is only fully functional in one orientation

This cable plugged between my laptop and my USB hub simultaneously pushes: - Ethernet running at 90Mbps ( because due to the limitations of my ethernet cable; will probably last longer) - USB mouse - USB keyboard - PowerWarning: When the device is plugged into the socket one way, everything works fine. Unfortunately, the other orientation doesn't work with my peripherals (keyboard/mouse) and only lets Ethernet and power through. It's not that big of a problem for me because I rarely disable…

Doesn't work with Apple Thunderbolt Display

I bought this to use with my 27" Apple Thunderbolt Display but it doesn't work with the display. On the 2016 MacBook Pro (Catalina) the video is shaky and flickers. Works as intended with some limitations

I was in dire need of an extension cord and for one thing it didn't arrive as it should, useless when needed in a pinch. Second, the cable puts out 54W when connected to a 61W Apple charger, as noted in System Info - Power, and it reports a 54W charge at 32 percent. Not transferring video, "Replacement sent, I'll try again ".

Update: Rating changed from 1 star to 4 stars due to excellent seller service. Insisted on sending me a new cable as what I had must be defective which is quite possible as it really slips. I'll give him one more try. It's nice to see a seller who apologizes for the problem and makes every effort to fix it. I bought this to expand the video adapter I use for my monitor. When connecting this extension cable between a Dell laptop and an HP G2 Thunderbolt Dock, the monitor connected to the dock did not receive a video signal.
