Connects to a variety of Thunderbolt 3 products that work when connected directly to the computer's Thunderbolt 3 port. When using this cable (and I bought two of them) the system did not recognize the device. Cables from devices are 3 inches long. Rebooting and turning off all devices didn't help. Interestingly, the devices would not even turn on. Mind you, when the devices were plugged directly into the TB3 port, they worked just fine. They stopped working when using this cable which means zero response from the devices, even the power LED.
