Happy with these shoes but I had to return them TWICE to get the right size which is very rare for me. I almost always have 8, and when not, then 7.5. In these I had to buy 8.5. I've read all the reviews and seen that some people thought they were big so I have no idea what's going on there but the 7.5 wasn't even close and the 8 still couldn't be worn. I have high arches as I suspect many who buy these shoes do. I think it was the "height" of my foot that made it too high for a comfortable fit. Now that I've been wearing the 8.5s for a while, I've had a chance to get to know them. I never feel like my shoes get enough arch support, but they actually reach my arches and provide good support. I can wear them without the arch support that I usually put in my shoes. Overall I am very happy with this shoe.
