After trying to drive a couple of ring shank nails through panel paneling into a solid spruce joist, I decided to give this nailer a shot. What a lifesaver. Even though I only had a dozen 12-foot pieces to finish the deck covering, the nailer worked flawlessly -- and effortlessly -- driving in 2-inch nails. However, since LP is a soft material, it was a bit difficult not to overload the nails. If I were doing the whole house I might disagree, but from what I understand this thing paid off. The case is also a bonus as those cheap air tools don't always have them. Of course if you spend money on Bostitch you should expect to find parts in 10 years and that mark is long gone. But for the money and for casual use, this looks like a winner.
