It's not really a solid box, it's a set of coated corners that fit into the slots on the corners. When it arrived, the aluminum panels were flimsy and rattled in the corner slots, causing the case to wobble a bit. I wanted to resize the case, so I bought thicker sheets of aluminum and cut them with a table saw. The cast corners worked great with the new thicker aluminum stock. spent double the purchase price and also spent half a day on it.
