It really works

This is a working OEM lighter! You will need this if you want a working socket for your 90's Toyota. Based on my experience I don't think you will come across a general purpose or generic lighter that can work with these sockets no matter what you do. I've tried two or three but to no avail. Put this in place and it worked like a charm. He seems to be having a hard time staying calm, I think something is broken in his torso. I do not care. I'm getting rid of the car for now, but it was worth having my phone charger back in the car for the rest of the time I was using it. But I have a few suggestions in case you don't want to come back here again: 1 . Never use an electric deicer.2. Aside from deicers, don't use high-powered devices (namely, inverters, tire pumps, or radiators) when the car is off, even if you think your battery can handle it. The battery will struggle to provide the required power, which in turn will cause the wiring to get hot and fry the resistance wire on the back of these things (that's probably why you're buying this outlet in the first place). You'll be buying another one of these in no time.3. Do not use it to light cigarettes even when the machine is on.4. Don't bother installing a higher rated fuse as reason number two will still come up if it overheats. To be honest I hate the design of these things. They already have a fuse in the fuse box to break the circuit in the event of an overload. Many power supplies also have built-in fuses. I understand that the resistor wire on the back of the plug is essentially an overheat protection circuit, not an overload protection, but I still hate it. Since you have no choice, you can buy it. It's scary to think that the part will probably be double the price from the dealer.

Pros

Cons
  • I vaguely remember
