This SCRUFF Rescue face scrub is really good. The "grain" factor is right there. Usually sand scrubs are pretty rough and (at least for me) don't clean/exfoliate that well. It's fairly fine-grained, but you can *definitely* feel the peeling going on. In fact, you have to be a little careful not to rub too hard, especially if you're using a washcloth. The smell is just "good"...it smells better coming out of the tube than when you scrub it...it's not "bad" but "normal" to me. I will say that after showering and toweling off my skin felt very good and clean... like a layer of oil had been removed from my face. Pretty happy with this product to be honest.
