These envelopes hold a lot and are truly strong. Rather than using a box to mail something to England, the envelope was super - lightweight and sturdy. I was able to wrap the envelope around the item around it to give it extra padding and save money on postage. Another package is waiting to send with a box and other items inside making it an odd size. The box is poking into the envelope but it is so strong and unforgiving that it is quite safe. I LOVE THESE ENVELOPES and gave some to a friend. The cost is well worth it.
