They are perfect! I think they are well made (much stronger than the red Betty Crockers I had before) and I like their oval shape. The silicone tabs are great if your hands are slippery and the dimensions are easy to read and doesn't seem like the 'writing' will come off unless you REALLY try to take them off. for example scraping. The oval shape and shallow bowls of the smaller mugs are perfect for getting in and out of containers, a problem I've always had with round mugs. In my opinion they seem more durable due to the width. I bought them mainly for the fun colors (goes well with my kitchen) but I can see my own little helper will love them and find them easy to use. The only thing I wish it included (since this is a kids kit) is a leveler. Not a deal breaker, but it would be nice. The set is worth a good seven dollars as is. I will definitely be buying more from the Curious Chef line. Would have bought 1-2) a set of 17 measuring and prep items instead if I had known I would love the measuring cups so much!
