I also had trouble converting file formats. Don't buy if you plan to burn your recordings to CD. Also, the headphone jack is obviously designed to only work with one headphone, not both. A little annoying. And the recording quality is not very good at all. Maybe because of the comparison (Sony IC Recorder ICD-PX720 is a MUCH better product for about the same price). While this recorder from Olympus is one of the few "cheaper" digital recorders I've been able to find that works with Windows 7, hopefully that gets resolved soon enough. Oh, and be careful when ordering through BuyAccessories.
