I hesitated to write this for a while after sending the article back. This was one of at least 15 different systems I tried to cool in my 2 year old daughter's car so it wasn't too hot when we first got in the car. It was relatively easy to install, but only worked in DIRECT sunlight, which wasn't ideal. I couldn't shade park at all if I wanted it to work. The included rubber grommet was the best part of this, but even that was an issue getting in, the lip that goes into the grommet had to be held to slide into the grommet and there was ample clearance when it rained. that it was still raining. When it worked, it didn't make much of a difference in the car's internal temperature. I have a vent thermometer in the car to check the inside temperature of the car, I had 4 of these and on the day when it was 85 degrees the temperature in the car only dropped to 95 degrees. I ended up spending $300 and got a window tint that lowered the temperature in the car to about 80 degrees in direct sunlight when it gets over 90 degrees outside.
